Over two years since Vince McMahon fired Oliver Luck as XFL commissioner

 two sides have settled the wrongful termination lawsuit.

When he was notified of his resignation, Luck said he was still owed $24 million left from his contract.

The terms of the settlement, which was made this week, are not known, according to Sports Business Journal.

It was anticipated to be tried in the coming month the jury selection process was set to begin on July 11. Evidently, this isn't going to happen any time soon.

When McMahon removed Luck the 9th of April of 2020, he did it in the belief that it was because of reason.

Luck claimed that McMahon simply wanted to get rid of the agreed-upon payments due to the fact that the XFL was

folding as was its main company Alpha Entertainment, was heading towards bankruptcy.

McMahon eventually retaliated against Luck and the all-encompassing mess seemed to be headed for the courtroom.
